Bosch's GOP 18V-34 is a cordless multi-cutter for electricians, plumbers, carpenters and renovators who already run Bosch Professional 18 V batteries. It is sold solo in a carton with one StarlockPlus plunge blade. What sets it apart in our multi-tool guide is a clearly stated 3.4 degree oscillation angle, the one figure that most other listings here leave out, and it is the number that most affects cutting speed.

Our take
Why the angle matters
An oscillating tool moves its blade from side to side through a small arc. A wider arc clears more material on each stroke and removes sawdust faster, so cuts go quicker, especially in deep plunge cuts. Bosch says the 3.4 degree angle increases cutting efficiency in small areas.
Few listings in this guide state an angle at all, so the Bosch is the easiest to judge on this point.
Design and accessory change
Bosch lists a low vibration design for easy, accurate cutting, a slim ergonomic grip and a snap in system for fast changes of Starlock accessories. Snap in mounting means you press the tool onto the blade and it locks, with no lever or key. The listed weight is 1.2 kg.
The supplied blade is a StarlockPlus bi-metal plunge cut blade with Curved-Tec, for wood and metal. One blade is a minimal start, so plan to buy a sanding pad, scraper or grout blade for other jobs.
What is not in the listing
The speed range is not stated, and neither is a battery or charger in the box. The tool takes Bosch 18 V packs and, according to our guide, AMPShare batteries. Without packs, you will need to add both. The box is a carton rather than an L-BOXX.
Against the other cordless tools
The Fein AMM 500 Plus Top runs on the same AMPShare batteries and adds over 30 accessories, a metal gearbox and QuickIN tool changes. The Bosch AdvancedMulti 18 is the DIY model with a battery and charger in the box, but it uses the green Power for All packs rather than the blue Professional system.
The HiKOKI CV18DMA steps up to StarlockMax for heavier cuts.
Verdict
Buy the GOP 18V-34 if you have Bosch Professional or AMPShare packs and want a capable, low vibration multi-cutter with a stated 3.4 degree angle. If you want a big accessory kit, the Fein AMM 500 Plus Top runs on the same batteries, and DIYers without packs may prefer the Bosch AdvancedMulti 18 kit.
